SUMMARY OF MATERIAL HANDLER POSITION FOR CASTING DEPARTMENT
Responsible for retrieving, maintaining, and moving materials to fulfill orders. Support the organization's business strategy by knowing/understanding internal/external expectations, complying with the quality and environmental systems, and implementing/executing/maintaining continual improvement activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Retrieves raw material from stock area as required for job.
• Maintains raw material stock by hanging ingot bars in the die-casting machines.
• Responsible for changing cans, retrieving empty cans, and moving production to the next process as directed on the job traveler documentation or by supervisor.
• Responsible for drowsing the pot and changing pot alloy.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned by the Production Supervisor.
• The employee is required to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds unassisted.
