We are currently seeking a Full-Time Air Import Lead to join our team in either our Bensenville location.
Duties Include:

• Booking cargo with air lines and communicating booking details to shippers and agents
  
• Arranging / Dispatching trucking for clients
  
• Communicating all shipment details to all parties involved
  
• Consistent & timely system updates of shipment KPI s
  
• Collecting & Reviewing customer documents
  
• Filing shipment data with US Customs (AES/SED through ACE)
  
• Preparing House & Master bill of lading details
  
• Providing accurate proof copies to shippers and agents
  
• Ensuring accuracy of data and documentation
  
• Auditing all shipment data for accuracy
  
• Billing freight charges to accounts
  
• Collecting and attesting all final documents
  
• Release of original shipment documents
  
• Sending Pre-Alert to destination offices
  
• Ensuring all shipment and document-related issues are resolved in timely manner
  Skills Required:
  
  • Min. 5 Years Air Imports experience preferred but not required.
    
  • Hazmat Certification preferred
    IAC Security Coordinator Experience a plus
