Responsibilities
Case Management: Assist attorneys with handling personal injury cases from intake to settlement or trial.
Client Communication: Maintain regular contact with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information.
Medical Records & Evidence Collection: Obtain and organize medical records, police reports, and other case-related documents.
Drafting & Filing: Prepare demand letters, pleadings, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
Negotiation Assistance: Help attorneys prepare settlement demands and negotiate with insurance companies.
Litigation Support: Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and preparing case materials.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law (plaintiff-side preferred).
Education: Paralegal certificate or equivalent work experience in personal injury litigation.
Skills: Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Tech-Savvy: Experience with case management software and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Bilingual (Preferred): Spanish fluency is a plus to better serve our diverse client base.
