PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The primary function of this position is to provide overall technical information and support on BioScan projects. This includes project management of all RELCO scope.
AUTHORITY & ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Authority to accept change-orders and secure additional work in accordance with company policy.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Standards of Performance
Manage projects
  • Work with sales team to schedule, estimate and plan projects as needed.
  • Manage projects assigned to meet schedule and budget constraints.
  • Maintain the engineering project files in a complete and organized manner according to company policy.
  • Coordinate with customer, BioScan and construction to prepare for & arrange inspections.
  • Ensure necessary project information required to complete invoices, project updates, etc. is provided to the appropriate company personnel/departments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Send BioScan reports to customer and sales. Facilitate meetings with customer, if requested.
  • Quality of project management.
  • Timeliness of completing projects on schedule.
  • Level of effort to stay within budget for project.
Customer relationship / communication
  • Maintain a positive and cooperative customer/RELCO relationship.
  • Successfully communicate all pertinent information to the appropriate departments.
  • Level of effort to maintain customer relationships.
  • Quality of communication to customers & other departments.

Safety Requirements
  • Follow all safety procedures of the Customer & RELCO while onsite.
  • Keep work area clean & organized so not to present a safety hazard.
  • Wear proper personal protective equipment (PPE) per Customer, RELCO, and OSHA standards.
  • Reports unsafe/unusual conditions & takes action to correct unsafe conditions immediately.
  • Reports all jobsite accidents and injuries as required by company policy.
  • Maintains & secures adequate security to protect company tools, equipment, materials, supplies, etc. from theft or damage.
  • Ensure all BioScan projects are conducted safely and within OSHA standards.
  • Thoroughness of completing safety requirements per law or RELCO policy
  • Effectiveness towards zero injuries associated with unsafe working conditions on assigned job sites
  • Level of effort to secure/protect tools, equipment, material & supplies onsite
Quality
  • Makes sure work is correct, complete, and meets required quality standards.
  • Complete any required paperwork free from errors and in a timely manner.
  • Quality of ensuring quality standards are followed through workmanship
  • Effectiveness of meeting RELCO's quality standards, all government standards, & contractual requirements
Onsite Repairs
  • Assist BioScan with setup and teardown of tools and gantry.
  • Perform repairs onsite as needed.
  • Recruit and train personnel to assist with BioScan projects.
Other Duties
  • Other projects as assigned by supervisor
  • Level of effort to complete other duties as assigned.

TRAVEL
Must be willing to travel 90% + of the time domestically & internationally for extended periods of time (typically 9 days on, 5 days off), residing in company provided lodging for trip durations.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
  • Education: Two-year Associates/Technical degree or relevant work experience
  • Experience: Two years of experience working in similar working capacity
  • Knowledge: Excellent organizational skills
