*Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and possess the skills necessary to support patients in various settings, including geriatrics, urgent care, and home care. This role requires a proactive approach to patient management and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.

*Duties*
* Provide direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
* Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
* Assist with daily living activities for patients, including personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
* Conduct assessments and document patient progress accurately in medical records.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Educate patients and their families on health management, medication administration, and treatment plans.
* Perform specialized procedures such as spinal taps, airway management, and dialysis as needed.
* Provide hospice care and support for patients with developmental disabilities.

*Requirements*
* Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
* Experience in geriatrics, urgent care, home care, or hospice care preferred.
* Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.
* Skills in managing airway issues and performing spinal taps are a plus.
* Experience working with children is beneficial but not required.
* Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
