*SURGICAL TECH*

_GHR Healthcare is seeking a qualified Surgical Technologist to assist the premier South Jersey hospital system. _

_This is a full-time contract with the option to extend._

*$51-$53 per hour*

*Schedule:*
* 3x12s
* 9:00AM-9:30PM
* Occasional On call
* 13-week contract with option to extend

*Responsibilities:*
* Maintain proper sterile technique during the procedure
* Functioning as a scrub person, circulation assistant and member of the surgical team
* Setting patients up for surgery
* Assemble, maintain, and track surgical instruments and equipment
* Inspect all packaged items to ensure integrity
* Conduct pre-op, intra-op, and post-op surgical counts according to AORN standards
* Maintain the integrity of the surgical field during procedures
* Scrubs for surgical procedures as assigned, maintaining proficiency in all surgical specialties
* Utilizes principles of aseptic technique in performing responsibilities in the operating room

*Local Pay: *$51-$53 per hour

*Travel Pay: $2,038.00 GROSS*
