*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Operating Room team. This position is critical in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced surgical environment.
* Full-Time,
* Shifts - 7a-3:30p, 9a-630p, 3p-11p, rotation as needed
* Pay: $44/hr- $60/hr

*What You'll Do as an Operating Room RN*
* Conducts comprehensive preoperative assessment, documenting patient status and findings.
* Follows the 5 Rights of Medication Administration, communicating medication details to the surgical team.
* Assesses patient safety risks, including consent and site verification, upon admission.
* Evaluates patient and family learning needs, addressing questions and concerns to reduce stress before surgery.
* Applies the 5 Rights of Delegation, coordinating and supervising nursing care, including task delegation.

*To be an OR RN, you should have:*
* Associates Degree
* At least 1 year of main Operating Room experience
* RN License to practice in the State of Connecticut
* Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR)
* Ability to work trauma hours, as per unit standards
* ACLS,
