We are seeking a Full-Time Assistant Director of Nursing (Registered Nurse - RN) to lead our skilled nursing facility in Forest City, PA. This position primarily offers a 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM schedule, with possible flexibility for other shifts. Salary is negotiable based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the operation of the Nursing Service Department, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Collaborate with the admissions team to interview and screen residents.
Review documentation to maintain compliance with treatment plans and medication administration.
Support the Resident Assessment/Care Plan Coordinator in managing MDS processes and implementing care strategies.
Facilitate orientation for new team members and provide ongoing training for current staff.
Organize and schedule in-service training sessions with industry speakers.
Maintain training schedules and ensure all required in-services are completed annually.
Document and maintain accurate records of training activities.

Qualifications:

Must be a Registered Nurse in the state.
A minimum of two years of supervisory experience in long-term care, hospitals, or related settings.
Familiarity with state and federal regulations.
Experience with the geriatric population is preferred.
