*Job Summary:*

We are seeking a dedicated CNA / Nurse Assistant to join our Medical Surgical team in the Resource Float Pool at Providence Hospital in Anchorage, AK. This position offers an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals with at least 1 year of experience in a medical surgical setting to contribute to patient care across various departments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing basic patient care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring the comfort and safety of patients in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
* Take and record vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
* Provide mobility support for patients, including transferring, positioning, and assisting with ambulation
* Monitor patient conditions and report changes to nursing staff
* Ensure patient rooms are clean and well-maintained
* Respond to patient call lights promptly

*Required Qualifications:*
* Minimum of 1 year experience as a CNA / Nurse Assistant in a Medical Surgical setting
* Current CNA certification
* Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

*Shift Details:*
* *Night Shift:* 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
* *Day Shift:* 3x12-Hour Shifts (07:00 - 19:00)

This position requires flexibility to work variable shifts, including both day and night rotations.

*Traveler Compensation Details:*
* *Blended Hourly Pay Rate (W2):* $33.00
* *Blended Weekly Gross Pay Rate:* $1,188.00
* *Hourly W2 Pay Rate:* $13.00
* *Hourly Stipend:* $20.00
