Job Description
A private, busy Family in the Southwest Denver area seeks an energetic, experienced full-time Housekeeper to join their evolving household team.
The Housekeeper will be responsible for providing hands-on housekeeping of the Family’s multiple homes on a rotating basis. The Housekeeper’s priority is maintaining the residences’ cleanliness and ensuring spaces are both inviting and comfortable. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, dependable, and very thorough.
Responsibilities include general tidying, cleaning, and organizing all spaces (i.e., kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, living rooms, guest rooms, etc.). This position will assist with maintaining household inventories, assist with laundry and meal prep when needed, prepare for guest visits, and assist with any immediate Family needs. This role requires a self-motivated, trustworthy individual who takes the initiative when tidying and tending to spaces.
The successful candidate must have experience working in a private home, have superb time management skills, and be a team player. The Housekeeper will report directly to the Household Manager and will work alongside other highly valued household staff. The successful candidate must possess an unwavering commitment to protecting the Family’s privacy and confidentiality. This role will demonstrate a willingness to listen, learn, and put the Family’s needs first. This position is live-out and full-time; the Housekeeper may occasionally work evenings and weekends and may accompany the Family on vacations to their residences in Colorado and other remote properties. Flexibility in scheduling is critical in this position. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday from 8.30 am – 5.30 pm and potentially a couple Saturday mornings a month. The Family has a history of retaining valued staff for long periods and is seeking a long-term placement in this important role.

Responsibilities:
Cleaning & Laundry Support
Ensure all residences have consistent housekeeping standards. Learn to understand and anticipate the Principals’ preferences.
Clean, tidy, and detail all spaces in the residences.
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and carpets.
Change and wash bed linens and make beds.
Deep clean while the Family is out of town or absent (i.e., deep-cleaning appliances, closets, etc.).

Additional Family Support
Provide hands-on assistance within the residences for the Family’s immediate needs.
Assist in monitoring all inventories within the residences and assist in compiling a restocking list.
Assist with Family food and meal prep as required.
Organize the Family’s belongings when needed— closet, pantry, home organizing.
Involvement in event preparation for corporate and Family gatherings.
Prepare for guest visits.
Packing/unpacking when required.
Occasional childcare when needed.
Assist with holiday décor set up and break down.
Escort vendors on properties when needed.
Run errands when required (e.g., dry cleaners, grocery stores, etc.).
Qualifications:
Practical qualifications
A high school degree required or GED certificate with a minimum of two-plus years of relevant experience providing housekeeping services in a similar role for a private Family.
Works well unsupervised and able to lift at least 25 pounds.
Valid U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record required.
Possess a strong command of the English language; comfort with Spanish is a plus.
Verifiable references, thorough background check, and drug screen required of all qualified finalists.
Local candidates preferred. Must live within 30 minutes of primary residence.

Possess exceptional organizational skills, dedication to responsibilities, and a “no job too big or too small” attitude.

Location:
Primary work location: Will report daily to the Family’s residence in Southwest Denver and support extended Family residences in the adjoining neighborhood.
Local travel in support of housekeeping requirements at other Family-owned properties will be required. Must provide transportation to and from work.

Salary & Benefits:
$30-35 / hour
This role will be hourly and is eligible for overtime, employer-paid medical insurance and 401k.
Fifteen days of paid time off. Vacation scheduling with Family approval. The daily schedule is generally Monday – Friday from 8.30 am to 5.30 pm, with occasional weekends and evenings required.
