Job Description

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in creating detailed technical drawings and schematics using CAD software, with a strong background in military and aerospace standards. This role requires proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and a thorough understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) as per Y14.5M standards. Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to ensure accurate representation of mechanical components. Apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to ensure precise and functional designs. Adhere to military and aerospace standards, including Y14.100 and MIL-DTL-, in all drafting work. Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs and the procedures and instructions to be followed.

Hard Skills

+ 3+ years using AutoCAD and SolidWorks

+ Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)

+ Knowledge of military and aerospace standards

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 12 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Claremont, California.

Work Environment

Work with a team of 12 engineers specializing in systems and hardware, alongside 2 drafters.
