Job Description This role involves working in different areas of the Emissions Lab and the Proving Grounds, troubleshooting test cell systems and equipment, calibrating instrumentation, and performing preventative maintenance. Our goal is to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency while driving continuous improvement.
Responsibilities - Troubleshooting and repairing test cell facility components, including drive systems, fuel systems, dynamometers, pumps, heaters, heat exchangers, motor vibration data collection, filter replacement, and cell transducers installation and calibration.
- Fabricating and wiring specialty equipment with or without drawings, using existing and purchased parts where necessary.
- Installing, calibrating, setting up, and troubleshooting exhaust gas emission measurement equipment.
- Performing equipment preventive and predictive maintenance work.
Essential Skills - Electrical, mechanical, troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, instrumentation, and calibration skills.
- 3-5+ years of electrical and/or mechanical hands-on maintenance experience and capability.
- Experience with equipment calibration, maintenance, and upkeep.
- Broad troubleshooting skills, welding, fabrication, and emissions testing experience.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $29.00
