Responsibilities

• Plan and oversee projects to ensure they are completed in a timely fashion and within budget
• Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan
• Plan and designate project resources and monitor progress
• Interpret blueprints and draft principal, auxiliary, and sectional views
• Design metal components for fabrication
• Create complete drawing sets, including; submittal, fabrication, and field use drawings.
• Track approvals out, returned, and revisions.

• 3+ years project management experience
• 3+ years drafting / detailing experience
• 3+ years experience working for a misc. metals or structural steel fabricator and(or) 3+ years experience working for a misc. metals or structural steel subcontract detailing firm
• Able to read Architectural and Structural Construction drawings.
• Strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to develop and improve upon product knowledge.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task.
• Strong organizational & communication skills.
• AutoCAD Advanced Steel experience preferred
• Estimating experience a plus
• Detailing: 3 years (Preferred)
• Miscellaneous Metals: 3 years (Preferred)
• Structural Steel: 3 years (Preferred)
• Project Management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Autodesk Advanced Steel: 1 year (Preferred)
