Engineering Coordinator at Insight Global in Boise, Idaho, United States Job Description Job Description Insight Global is looking for an Engineering Coordinator to join the team of a large Semiconductor construction firm. This individual will be responsible for supporting our various clients internal departments by functioning as a project leader. This includes coordinating, designing, and documenting equipment installations, remodels, site improvements and renovations in coordination with facilities engineers. Breakdown of primary responsibilities: Technical Analyzes systems data to make critical decisions, improve performance, gain efficiency, and drive cost savings Provides effective and timely guidance to resolve issues and is highly engaged in key problem resolution Provides troubleshooting support for complex problems and addresses root cause Performs problem analysis using standard tools and methodologies Supports risk and/or failure mode and effects analysis Eliminates single points of failure and mitigates risk Organizes files and drawings for dispersal and record keeping using hard file and software systems Designs and drafts architectural elements and systems for installations, remodels and new construction, as directed Designs and drafts process piping and mechanical elements and systems in coordination with engineers, as directed Assists the area Facility Coordinator with tool placement and planning to keep installation costs to a minimum Provides consultation and technical support to other groups or projects as needed Uses administrative and engineering databases/applications as necessary Safety & Quality Owns content of construction specifications, design standards and design checklists that ensure quality, efficiency and safe work Incorporates safety controls in every aspect of the design, enhancement, and modification process Stops work for safety if unsafe conditions and/or behaviors are identified Utilizes and reviews job hazard analysis (JHA/JSA) for work being performed Follows all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations including PPE, CoHE (lockout/tagout) and chemical safety Follows-up on safety and quality related issues immediately and works towards resolution with stakeholders Actively participates in the EHS program by reporting all EHS-related concerns or problems immediately (maximum 24 hours) Performs and facilitates audits and submits good catches Proactively identifies opportunities to reduce potential hazards To view full details and how to apply, please login or create a Job Seeker account
