Overview The Chicago office of Kaufman Dolowich, an AV-rated firm designated one of the “Best Companies to Work For” among U.S. law firms by U.S. News & World Report, is seeking an insurance coverage attorney with 3 or more years of experience. The candidate would be joining a growing, dynamic firm with more than 200 attorneys nationwide.Insurance coverage experience preferred but not required.KD offers a competitive base salary, annual discretionary bonus, performance-based bonus, professional and client development and a full comprehensive benefits package.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Analyze insurance policies to identify coverage issues.Draft coverage opinions, reservations, and disclaimers.Handle insurance coverage litigation.Qualifications EDUCATION & WORK EXPERIENCE:Insurance coverage experience.Superior academic credentials from a top tier accredited law school.Member in good standing of the Illinois bar.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent legal research and analytical skills.Proficiency with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office products.Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly.The total annual compensation range for this position is $130,000 - $200,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
