Fire Alarm Installation Technician
Yearly Salary $70,000-$85,000
Philadelphia, PA - Full Time
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for installing, maintaining, testing and repairing fire alarm systems
  • Experience with installation testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems
  • Work with a team to ensure that all fire alarms installed are functioning properly and adhering to safety and building codes
  • Troubleshoot and repair any faulty equipment.
Requirements
  • Experience installing and maintaining fire alarm systems
  • Knowledge of fire alarm control panels and devices
  • Understanding of UL, NFPA, IBC and local fire codes
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and diagrams
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Certifications in fire alarm installation, such as NICET or equivalent, are preferred
