The successful candidate will work remotely from the Bay Area, CA area, and will play a critical role in providing legal defense services to our clients in Insurance Litigation cases. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in liability law, while enjoying the flexibility and autonomy of a remote role.ResponsibilitiesRepresenting clients in a wide range of insurance defense matters.Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients on complex liability issues.Developing and implementing effective defense strategies to protect the interests of our clients.Negotiating settlements and resolving disputes in a manner that is favorable to our clients.Conducting thorough and detailed research to support case preparation and strategy development.Drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and contracts.Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and legal support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.Keeping clients informed of case progress and advising them on potential legal risks and strategies.Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends in insurance defense and liability law.QualificationsJuris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.A minimum of 8 years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on liability law - 3rd party defense.Current license to practice law in the state of California.Proven track record of successfully defending clients in insurance cases.Excellent negotiation, dispute resolution, and advocacy skills.Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex legal documents and formulate effective defense strategies.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in clear, accessible language.High degree of professional ethics and integrity.Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload in a remote setting.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.8yrs+ First Chair experience for 3rd party Insurance Defense cases.Strong background with General Liability, Product Liability, Commercial Auto Claims, Toxic Tort.If you are a seasoned 3rd Party Insurance Defense Attorney with a passion for providing top-notch legal services and are seeking a flexible, remote role, we encourage you to apply today.Seniority level : Not ApplicableEmployment type : Full-timeJob function : LegalIndustries : Legal Services, Law Practice, and Government Administration#J-18808-Ljbffr
