About the Role
As a Brand Marketing Director Tea Tree & Mitch, reporting into the VP of Brand Marketing you will be an integral part of the Marketing team. You will craft the growth trajectory for the Tea Tree and Mitch Brands and the overall Brand Marketing Strategy. You will lead and drive brand development in collaboration with our Research & Development (R&D), Creative, Education and Sales departments. You will develop, create and execute all marketing plans and activities to drive brand awareness and deliver sales growth. You will work closely with internal cross functional teams to drive and implement brand key Initiatives, product introductions, promotional campaigns and digital & social activations. This position is hybrid and will work out of our Century City office.
What You will Do :
- Manage and motivate a team of brand marketing professionals
- Develop the strategic brand direction, sales goals and implementation of marketing programs
- Create impactful and innovative marketing programs, with a comprehensive 360 approach (omnichannel of distribution)
- Partner with R&D on product innovation and product gaps/opportunities
- Drive and lead go-to-market launch plans for new products and key campaigns
- Collaborate with Digital and Social marketing teams to build brand awareness, customer engagement, and drive sales
- Generate sales-driving ideas and concepts to support key categories and best sellers
- Analyze brand performance and proactively develop actionable plans to drive sales
- Act as the gatekeeper of the brand architecture, quality cues, brand values and key messaging
- Manage and provide all cross functional team members and international partners with the key branding elements and brand style guides
- Develop content strategy and manage all brand assets (photoshoots, key campaigns, branded assets)
- Research business/marketing/ industry trends, analyze trend information and be able to effectively anticipate the next big idea
- Present marketing initiatives to stakeholders and key groups
- Participate in special events for the organization

Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field required
Experience:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in brand management, marketing strategy, or product marketing within the beauty or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry, preferably professional hair care
- 5+ years' experience in people management
Competitive Compensation:
- The expected base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $165,000 . The exact base salary is determined by various factors including geographic location, experience, skills, and education.
- Discretionary Bonus Plan: This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
