Full-time Hourly position starting at $24.00 DOE, plus benefits. Working in Albuquerque, NM our of Heritage Companies Corporate Office.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of 4 full time and 1 part time Accounts Payable staff processing 4,000+ invoices and 1,800+ payments monthly for multiple entities.
  • Work with Treasury manager of weekly payment allotments.
  • Monitor Accounts Payable Aging Report on a regular basis.
  • Oversee Accounts Payable email with activity of 50-100 emails daily to ensure staff is receiving and addressing all.
  • Statement reconciliation of large/difficult vendors and oversight of staff on smaller reconciliations.
  • Direct handling of vendor accounts with higher level of complexity/difficulty.
  • Direct handling of invoices to be split between numerous entities.
  • Auditing of batches entered by staff.
  • Monitoring of entry standards (ie: invoice # format, descriptions, etc.)
  • Setup new vendors.
  • Possess the ability to multi-task and has strong attention to detail.
  • Adhere to schedule to meet both weekly and end of month deadlines.

Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
  • Must work with sensitive and confidential material with discretion and confidentiality.
  • Ability to bring positive, creative energy to the job, while being a self-starter, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
