GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI), Co-PI, or Co-I coordinates epidemiologic studies. Assists in the design and planning of studies, oversees database development and management, and aids in the analysis of data. Responsible for various tasks associated with the recruitment of study subjects and acquisition of data for biomedical studies. Trains and oversees study personnel. May be expected to present an abstract at a national scientific meeting. Expected to participate in journal clubs and keep current with epidemiological literature and methods. May assist Investigators in development of abstracts, posters and manuscripts.
This position will report to the Henry Ford Medical Group (HFMG) Medical Director of Diversity & Inclusion, who leads the HFMG Office of Diversity & Inclusion. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Master's degree required.
  • Master's degree in Public Health with a concentration in Epidemiology or related field preferred.
  • Literacy in computer software programs used for data management and analysis.
