Job Description Job Description Title: Customer Service RepresentativeReports to: General Manager / Resort OwnerThe Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing every client with a “wow experience”. As a CSR, you are the face of the company. The CSR’s purpose is to make every person and dog that walks in feel comfortable, confident, and like a VIP. They are also entrusted to ensure the mission and values are protected and upheld.Essential Job Functions:Fluent in Google Suite and well-versed in computer usageWilling/able to learn new computer programs easilyVery customer service-orientedMust be sales-drivenTime-management skillsGreets all customers coming into the building with a pleasant and welcoming demeanorPerforms Check In/Check Out and reservation procedures in the POS systemAccepts payment from customersTakes custody of pets and makes sure they are properly placed in the buildingAnswers telephone inquiriesWorks closely with the owner in charge to handle small office tasksProvides tours of the facility to potential customersResponsible for feeding and medicating of all dogsProvides personal playtimes for dogs when such a service is requestedTakes dogs outside for elimination breaksPerforms body checks to search for pre-existing conditions and/or injuriesHas the ability to perform the following tasks at the request of the General Manager/OwnerSanitation of all boarding and daycare accommodationsMonitoring DaycareBathingQUALIFICATIONS:Job Requirements:Must complete K9 Resorts Certification Program for a Customer Service RepresentativeCustomer service-orientedA sales mindsetAttend grassroots events to promote the businessEducation and Experience:High School diploma or equivalentPrevious experience is preferred but not requiredSome weekend and holiday hours are requiredTechnical Skills:Computer skills including knowledge of Google Suite.Proficient written and spoken communication skills.Personal Characteristics:Must be able to communicate with all types of people, remain calm, mediate and problem-solveMust be of high moral and ethical characterHigh level of emotional intelligenceSalesmanship personality and comfortAbility to multitaskStrong ability to adapt to change and support company directivesA Can-Do - It is my job attitudeOutgoing, positive, enthusiastic personalityMust demonstrate a love for dogsWell-organized and efficientThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by the employee assigned this classification.
