Job Description YARD ASSOCIATE / LABORER
Hiring Immediately!
Shift: 1st shift 7am-5pm; Monday-Friday (occasional Saturday for a few hours of OT)
Pay: Based on experience - starting at $15-$18/hr
Location: Cedar Rapids, IA
Advance Services Inc. is looking to hire Yard Associates to complete a variety of tasks for a metal recycling company that specializes in processing raw scrap metal, at their Cedar Rapids location! This is a great opportunity for versatile individuals to become efficient in a variety of skills in the recycling industry!
Duties Include:
- Cutting and processing scrap metal
- Heavy equipment operation - the right candidate will grow into Machine Operator
- Ensure warehouse and outdoor property are well maintained
- Assist around warehouse as needed
Requirements:
- Class A or B CDL is a plus but not required!
Candidate will be subject to pre-employment background and drug screening.
