Summary:The Electrical & Instrumentation Tech is assigned to day shift (7:00 am - 3:30 pm). The position pay starts at $33.43 per hour. Health and welfare benefits begin on date of hire and there is also an annual bonus.Core Functions:Responsible for maintaining plant wide electrical troubleshooting and repairResponsible for maintaining all automation throughout the facility (electric circuits of 480VAC or less)Troubleshoot and repair high voltage lighting, variable frequency drive (VFD) and alternating current / direct current (AC/DC) systemsAbility to read and understand ladder logic is requiredTroubleshoot and repair Programmable Logix Control (PLC) (Allen-Bradley) systems like SLC 500, MicroLogix, CompactLogix, PLC 5s, 5000 LogixControllers and PanelViewsCheck output on DC controllers and replace printed circuit boards when neededTroubleshoot, locate, test, identify, or diagnose electrical malfunction and then adjust, repair, or replaceAbility to follow, interpret, and read blueprints or schematicsCalibrate and/or troubleshoot process instrumentationResponsible for assigning IP addresses to new equipmentInspect for conformity to industry standards or specificationsRebuild, repair and replace damaged, defective, or worn partsMaintain a clean and orderly work area and remove material and equipment from job sitePerform miscellaneous job related duties as assignedTroubleshoot and repair AC motor starter circuitsSkill/Experience Requirements:High School diploma or GED equivalent requiredAssociates Degree in Electronics or 3-5+ years of equivalent experience is required3-5 years of experience or schooling troubleshooting and repairing PLC s and experience programmingExperience utilizing networking systems such as Control Net, Ethernet, and Data Highway requiredFamiliar with mass flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature transmitters, burner control systems and other like equipment found in an automated plant requiredDemonstrated ability to work in a team environmentDemonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environmentPrevious work in a soybean crush facility is a plusExperience with SAP maintenance software a plusGood written and verbal communications skillsAbility to work overtime as needed#INDT2Bunge (NYSE: BG) is a world leader in sourcing, processing and supplying oilseed and grain products and ingredients.
