About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Workplace Investing Risk Management. This key leadership role is focused on providing independent risk oversight to protect the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and prioritizing risk areas, deploying operational risk programs, and offering risk advisory support for new products and services. A dynamic and proven leader is required, with the ability to set strategic direction, manage a team, and respond to both acute risk issues and long-term initiatives. The role demands a strong background in operational risk management, with a preference for at least 15 years of experience in financial services, particularly in risk management, audit, compliance, or business/operational roles with a risk management component.Applicants for this role at the company should have a keen focus on the industry and competitive landscape, with the ability to drive the evolution of risk management functions in a rapidly changing environment. Experience in the retirement industry, including familiarity with defined contribution and defined benefit plans, is a significant plus. The role also requires a leader who is adept at building business partner relationships, operating at executive levels, and has excellent communication skills. The Vice President will be part of the senior management team of the Risk organization and will be expected to collaborate closely with partners across the enterprise to achieve the common goal of protecting the firm, its associates, and its customers.
