About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the daily operations of its community-based, outpatient healthcare and multi-service center. The COO will be responsible for team leadership, operational management, financial oversight, compliance, risk management, and quality assurance. This role demands a leader with a strong background in healthcare management, a passion for advancing health equity, and a commitment to the mission of providing high-quality, accessible healthcare to the community. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute strategies that align with the center's goals and will be adept at fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring the delivery of efficient patient care, and optimizing the patient experience.Applicants for the COO position at the company should have a Master's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience, and a minimum of 5 years in healthcare management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role. The role requires exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven track record in operational management, strategic planning, and financial acumen. Experience in a diverse community setting, with a focus on health equity, and a strong understanding of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality improvement practices are essential. The COO will also be involved in community and stakeholder relations, emergency preparedness, and crisis management, and will play a key role in the organization's strategic planning and long-term operational goals.
