About the Role

The Company is seeking a Director of Development/Executive Director for its Foundation. The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive program that includes various giving options, from annual to major and capital giving. This role involves developing and implementing fundraising strategies, overseeing a board of directors, managing active divisions, and administering the affairs of the Foundation. The Director will also be in charge of special events, ensuring compliance with policies and by-laws, and coordinating the Foundation's efforts to support the College's mission and strategic planning.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of three years' experience in fundraising, advancement, and development. A deep understanding of the community college mission is essential, as is a commitment to a collaborative management style. The role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to plan and execute special events. The ideal candidate will be task-oriented, able to build positive relationships in the community, and engaged in the local area. Responsibilities also include supervising staff, maintaining financial reports, and ensuring the appropriate awarding of scholarships.
