Korpack is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to join our team. What You'll Do: The mission of this role is to ensure the seamless flow of production by strategically planning and coordinating production schedules, optimizing resources, and aligning with customer demands. The Production Scheduler plays a vital role in driving operational efficiency, meeting delivery deadlines, and supporting Korpack's commitment to providing high-quality packaging solutions and white-glove service.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review Open Orders

• Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer orders, demand forecasts, and inventory levels.
• Monitor lead times and adjust production plans to meet customer expectations and deadlines.
• Track production performance and provide reports to management, offering insights for continuous improvement.

Confirm On-Hand Inventory

• Monitor inventory levels and material requirements, coordinating with procurement to ensure material availability for scheduled jobs.
• Ensure on-time delivery by collaborating with production and inventory teams to prioritize jobs and resources.
• Analyze production capacity and resource availability, adjusting schedules as needed to optimize throughput.

Schedule Production by Line

• Schedule production runs based on available resources, equipment capacity, and priority jobs.
• Coordinate with production teams to adjust schedules based on unforeseen issues, customer needs, or material delays.
• Work with quality control to ensure that production meets required standards while adhering to set timelines.

Communication

• Communicate effectively with internal teams to address any production delays, issues, or constraints.
• Coordinate with sales, inventory, and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and reduce bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with procurement to ensure timely material availability and adjust production schedules accordingly.

Compensation: $70,000.00 per year
