As a member of the Executive Management Team, the Chief Nursing Officer is responsible for the overall administration, direction, and coordination of all Nursing areas and other assigned areas. Must be very strong in the areas of QA, hospital finance/budgeting, and overall clinical management. A positive, diplomatic, and team-promoting approach is essential in this position. The Chief Nursing Officer models the behaviors and work performance for the team, effectively assuming the authority and responsibility for the Nursing Departments (and others as assigned) hospital-wide.
