About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Graduate Medical Education (GME) to lead and advance its GME programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic development and operationalization of GME functions, ensuring compliance with ACGME accreditation standards, and fostering a culture of educational and professional excellence. This role involves close collaboration with a diverse range of stakeholders, including program directors, residents, fellows, faculty, and union leadership. The Executive Director will also oversee the financial management of GME, including budget preparation and monitoring, and will be involved in the recruitment and matching processes for residency and fellowship programs.Candidates for the Executive Director position should have a Master's degree in education, healthcare administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 10 years' progressive management experience, with at least 5 years specifically in GME administration. A comprehensive understanding of ACGME accreditation requirements and experience with residency management systems is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in educational or healthcare administrative roles, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced academic medical environment. Strong financial management skills, the ability to adapt to changing regulations, and experience in labor relations are also key qualifications for this role.
