We have a direct hire opportunity in St. Louis for a QualityEngineer with a leading Engineering Firm. This role willoversee the inspection of incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished products, ensuring they meet precise quality standards. This role involves managing metrology tools, problem-solving, and collaborating with both internal teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise inspections to ensure compliance with quality and metrology standards.
- Assist with start-up processes and new product launches.
- Manage weld verifications and perform statistical analyses.
- Work with vendors on designing and acquiring metrology tools.
- Oversee calibration, maintenance, and documentation of metrology equipment.
- Collaborate on new projects, ensuring accurate inspections and approvals.
- Resolve customer quality issues and assist with first part approvals (ISIRs).
Requirements:
- Degree or relevant experience in Metrology, Quality Management, or SPC (Statistical Process Control).
- 2-5 years of experience in Quality Control or Metrology.
- Strong knowledge of SPC and statistical analysis.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and record-keeping skills.
