Position Overview:


As an Assistant Project Manager - Professional Engineer, you will play a key role in leading a team of engineers and drafters towards the successful completion of projects. Your leadership skills will empower your team to effectively apply their expertise in Civil or Structural Engineering. You will be responsible for producing precise structural analysis, designs, calculations, and detailed documentation on schedule. Your knowledge of contract terminology will assist you in reviewing and managing project contracts, change orders, scopes of work, and related documents.



Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus on Civil or Structural disciplines
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of California - Civil or Structural
  • 3+ years of experience in structural engineering design
  • Experience in managing engineering teams and projects
  • Expertise in performing structural calculations for a variety of projects, including commercial, educational, and/or solar
  • Proficient in AutoCAD 2015 (or newer) for 2D drafting
  • Familiarity with structural engineering software such as Enercalc and RISA
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and Adobe software tools
