Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will help identify new business opportunities, manage agency relationships, and ensure the growth of the company’s distribution. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to communicate effectively, and a proactive approach to business strategy. The Business Development Coordinator will work closely with senior management to help drive revenue and expansion efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify potential opportunities
- Identify and target new opportunities and prospective distributors through cold calling, emails, networking, and industry events
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to build targeted campaigns and outreach strategies
Distribution Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential distributors
- Coordinate meetings, presentations, and follow-ups to understand their business needs and offer customized solutions
- Support the onboarding of new distributors and ensure a smooth transition
Proposal & Presentation Preparation:
- Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and contracts for new business opportunities
- Ensure all materials are aligned with the company’s brand and objectives
- Prepare and review necessary documentation to close business deals
Sales Support & Coordination:
- Collaborate with the sales team to support the execution of sales strategies and goals
- Track and report on sales, opportunities, and pipeline progress
- Organize and schedule meetings, calls, and presentations to key stakeholders
Project Management & Administration:
- Coordinate project timelines and deliverables between the business development team and other departments
- Maintain a database of prospects, clients, and leads in the company’s CRM system
- Prepare internal and external reports on business development activities and performance
Event Planning & Networking:
- Organize and coordinate industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Attend events to represent the company, gather industry insights, and cultivate business relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- 2+ years of experience in business development or sales (experience in relevant industry preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
