The law firm of Pearson Doyle Mohre & Pastis LLP is seeking a full time Litigation Paralegal with 5+ years of Construction Law experience. We are looking for a team member with strong administrative skills and attention to detail, who is highly motivated and capable of working both autonomously and as a team player. Trial experience is a plus, but not a pre-requisite.

Excellent compensation package. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Prepare, edit, update and finalize drafts of correspondence, pleadings, motions and discovery
• Working knowledge of state and federal civil procedure relating to filing/serving documents and deadlines
• Prepare and manage subpoenas and deposition notices
• Working with expert witnesses and consultants
• Review, organize and summarize documents, including preparing chronologies
• Professional communication with clients, opposing counsel and vendors
• Assist with discovery, depositions, trial preparation and trial
