Research Associate/Senior Research Associate - Cell Science Redmond, WA Located in Redmond WA, Systimmune Inc.is a bio-pharmaceutical company focused on the treatment of cancer through developing novel therapeutic multi-specific antibodies, as well as antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs). Our objective is to create biologics that work through systematic intervention on the solid tumor micro-environment, to either directly attack the tumor and/or to activate the immune system to attack the tumor.
We are seeking a Research Associate / Senior Research Associate with experience in cell culture and plasmid preparation to join our Cell Science Department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Perform mammalian cell culture following sterile techniques
- Perform expression vector construction, plasmid preparation and NGS sequencing.
- Contribute to daily laboratory maintenance, such as ordering reagents, maintaining equipment and preparing media
- Perform rigorous data analysis using common software packages (e.g., Microsoft Office suite)
- Author SOP's, reports and slides summarizing data and interpreting experimental results
- Provide consistent updates and present data at team meetings
- Collaborate with other departments
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in biology or a related science major
- 1+ year experience in mammalian cell culture
- 1+ year experience in molecular biology techniques, including plasmid construction and DNA isolation
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment and deliver complex objectives under tight deadlines
- Availability of working weekend and holiday shifts as needed

- This role will involve working in a cell culture laboratory alongside other scientists, as well as in a standard business office with desktop equipment and a moderate noise level.

The hiring pay range for this position is $60,000 - $85,000 per year based on skills, education, and experience relevant to the role.
