About the Role
iCapital is looking to hire a Vice President or Senior Vice President professional to help manage its alternatives-focused model portfolios initiatives. This role will help lead our roll-out plan for model portfolios, interact with clients to increase adoption, and manage internal workstream to ensure smooth execution. This individual should have strong knowledge of alternative investments as well as utilization of model portfolios by wealth advisors.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee internal processes for the management of model portfolio business, including portfolio management, compliance/legal framework, sales and marketing, etc.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Legal, and Technology teams to promote adoption of models and ensure smooth implementation.
  • Design model portfolios of alternative investments aligned with client-specific objectives.
  • Participate in client meetings to discuss model selection process and methodology.
  • Oversee monitoring and reporting of the model portfolios' performance on a monthly and quarterly basis and lead the implementation of rebalancing as needed.
  • Assist in the development of Separately Managed Account (SMA) capabilities and market this solution to prospective clients.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis of market trends, economic data, and investment opportunities to inform portfolio design.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus
  • 10+ years of experience within Financial Services, with proven experience in portfolio management, investment analysis, or a similar role in the financial industry. Knowledge of alternative investments is required
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling, and a deep understanding of financial markets and investment strategies
  • Experience with financial software and modeling tools
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and clients

Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $200,000 to $250,000. iCapital offers a compensation package which includes salary, equity for all full-time employees, and an annual performance bonus.
