This a well-established law firm based in Los Angeles, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Insurance Defense Attorney with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling insurance defense cases, a strong understanding of liability and coverage issues, and the ability to manage complex cases from inception through trial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent insurance carriers and their insured clients in a variety of defense matters, including general liability, automobile accidents, and professional malpractice.
• Independently manage a caseload of insurance defense cases, from investigation through resolution.
• Draft, review, and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.
• Conduct legal research on insurance law, torts, and other related matters.
• Provide strategic guidance and risk management advice to clients.
• Engage in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and provide guidance to junior associates as needed.
• Maintain case files and ensure compliance with deadlines and legal procedures.

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• 2+ years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on liability and coverage.
• Strong knowledge of California state and federal insurance laws.
