Job Description

The Mark Sisson Law Firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join our Personal Injury practice. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in personal injury law and be licensed to practice in Michigan. This role involves managing a caseload from intake to resolution, including litigation and trial work.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, from pre-litigation through trial
Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
Handle discovery, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in trial proceedings when necessary
Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance companies
Stay up to date on Michigan personal injury laws and legal precedents
Qualifications

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice law in Michigan (in good standing)
3+ years of experience in personal injury law
Strong negotiation and litigation skills
Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical abilities
Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment
