Litigation Attorney Employment Law

We are seeking a Litigation Attorney who is ready to take ownership of their cases, litigate aggressively, and advocate for justice in the courtroom.

Position Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled litigator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment. The ideal candidate will manage a caseload of approximately 25 employment law cases , handling all aspects of litigation from inception through trial. This role offers significant autonomy, including the opportunity to take numerous depositions, argue motions, and participate in trials . We foster a collaborative, hardworking, and litigation-driven culture , where attorneys are encouraged to take initiative and fight for meaningful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage a caseload of 25 employment law cases , handling all aspects of litigation.
• Take and defend depositions , including plaintiffs, witnesses, and expert witnesses.
• Draft and argue motions, including motions for summary judgment and pretrial motions.
• Participate in trials and arbitrations , advocating effectively in the courtroom.
• Engage in settlement negotiations, mediation, and case strategy development.
• Work closely with clients, keeping them informed and involved throughout their cases.
• Collaborate with our team of experienced plaintiff-side attorneys to strengthen case strategy.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in California (required).
• 2+ years of litigation experience, with a strong background in employment law preferred.
• Substantial experience in depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation .
• Strong advocacy skills and a passion for employee rights.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
• Exceptional work ethic, attention to detail, and litigation drive.
