Job Summary:
Our growing Irving, TX office is seeking an exceptional Plumbing Designer/ Engineer to join our team. The Plumbing Designer/ Engineer focuses primarily on the design of building related projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.
General Duties:
  • Designing plumbing systems for various commercial buildings
  • Development of system design calculations and selection of equipment for use in buildings
  • Preparation of detailed design documents
  • Specification writing/editing
  • Code compliance research
  • Coordinating work with other disciplines
  • Site survey to determine and document existing conditions
  • Providing construction administration services
Skills:
  • Good communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
  • Ability to lead a team and work as a team
  • You have knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines
  • Excellent work ethic and attitude
  • Leadership Ability and Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and MS Office
  • Ability to travel
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred but not required
  • 3+ years of design experience
