Position: Hardware Design Engineer

Location: Milpitas, CA

Job Description:

• Design and develop high-speed digital and analog PCBs with EMI/EMC compliance.
• Expertise in microcontrollers (8051, ARM), microprocessors (ARM, DSP), and SOC-based systems.
• Proficient in peripheral interfaces: I2C, SPI, UART, RS485, CAN, and SDIO.
• Develop power electronics systems: AC/DC SMPS, DC/DC converters, and battery management.
• Experience in high-speed board design which includes DDR2, DDR3, DDR4, eMMC, HDMI, MIPI, Ethernet.
• Hands-on with wireless protocols: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Zigbee, LTE, and GPS.
• Skilled in schematic tools (OrCAD, Altium) and layout tools (Allegro, PADS).
• Conduct SI/PI analysis and EMI/EMC pre-compliance testing.
• Utilize lab equipment: oscilloscopes, analyzers, and function generators.
• Collaborate across firmware, mechanical, and fabrication teams.
