The carpenter will assist the lead man in assembling forms from start to finish.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reads production drawings/blueprints and constructs wooden forms and block-outs with close tolerance to specifications
- Responsible for assembling custom-designed production forms to blueprint specifications
- Maintains good housekeeping and always follows safety policies and procedures
EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required
- On-the-job training offered
- Some rebar/construction experience is preferred
- Must have a clear knowledge of basic measurements and the ability to read a tape measure within 16th of an inch
- Must be able to use a wide variety of tools, including but not limited to staple gun, brad nailer, hammer, measuring tape, pneumatic nail gun, pneumatic palm sander, and circular saws
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to function well in a high-paced environment
- Willing to take direction from a lead-man
- Performs additional duties as requested or required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ ADA ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Must be able to use various hand tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as laced up ankle steel toe laced up ankle work boots, hard hats, work gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection
- Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs, occasionally.
- Physically able to push, pull, lift, bend, climb, kneel, twist, squat, crawl and use hands/forearms repetitively and frequently.
- Ability to move around for up to 12 hours per day.
- Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, swing stages and man lifts at various heights frequently.
