Salary Range:

$22.5000 - $33.5900 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

The Clinical Support Tech I assists the OR team providing technical support and assisting the physician and/or RN. This role assists with patient positioning/prepping under the direction of the RN and and depending on area, may assist with maintenance and care of technology and equipment including but not limited to endoscopy, Robotics, Image guided (superdimensions), and video equipment. Assists with patient transfers using proper body mechanics and protocols. Prepares equipment and specialty items for procedures according to preference cards. Responsible for communicating pertinent information to the RN. Additional functions include general cleaning, equipment cleaning, gathering equipment, specimen transport, room turnover, and assisting OR team with patient care (positioning and prepping). Performs other duties as assigned. May function in the role of Operating Room Assistant as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and ExperienceMinimum six months experience as Operating Room AssistantSuccessful completion of internal technician competencies or equivalent external core trainingA minimum of 1 year recent operating room experience is preferredAdditional skills and knowledge of equipment related to the surgical/ procedural environment preferredCertifications Required
