Job Title: Surgical Pathology Technician

Duties:Perform a range of diagnostic procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, including grossing surgical and dermatological biopsy specimens.Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure adherence to quality control and safety standards.Prepare and process tissue samples for analysis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laboratory protocols.Collaborate with pathologists and other medical professionals to deliver timely and accurate results.Document and manage patient data in compliance with confidentiality and regulatory standards.Skills Required:

Proficiency in grossing surgical and derm biopsy specimens.Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment maintenance.Education:

High School Diploma or GED required.Licensure as a Lab Technician or Histological Technician.Valid New York State License required.
