Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Oklahoma City, OK 11pm-7:30am

Essential Functions of Employment with DLO:• Show up for work, on time & prepared each and every scheduled work day• Perform all tasks and processes assigned to you including all tasks and processes you are fully qualified to perform and all tasks and processing that you may be over-qualified to perform• Maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each and every scheduled work day & work as a collaborative team member with your fellow teammates on a daily basis

Main Duties:

Perform duties as assigned by supervisor; to include inventory control, stocking supplies, performing activities under the supervision of the technical staff to facilitate workflow. Will learn to process specimens to be tested on analyzers and perform basic instrument maintenance to support the department, able to perform bench startup and assist accordingly during production.

Responsibilities

Required Knowledge:

Basic understanding of computers with a preferred knowledge of laboratory testing and/or laboratory specimen processing.

Education Required:

BS/BA in chemistry or biology preferred, minimum requirements, credits towards a science related field.

Required Experience:

Previous laboratory/medical experience preferred

Qualifications

Special Requirement:

Should be able to work extra days/shifts as dictated by business need.

Physical and Mental Requirements:Position requires data background with abilities to enter 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hourWorks in a biohazard environment, practicing good safety habitsAble to sit or stand for long periodsHandles multiple tasks simultaneously and works in a production environment
