They are responsible for creating and maintaining an efficient, highly motivated, technical development organization.What You’ll Work OnFunctional management of product development engineering disciplines in a FDA controlled environment.Engineering Department Budgeting.Assessment and management of outsourced developers.New technology assessment and road mapping.Career development of direct reports.Support of product development objectives and milestones.Communicate group status to senior staff.Help define and establish company wide policies and procedures.Lead & direct engineering product development teams.Manage budgets for appropriate activities.Ensure teams are compliant with Quality System requirements.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and work experienceMinimum 12 years experience in product development rolesPreferred QualificationsMaster's DegreeExperience with medical device developmentDemonstrated substantial knowledge of regulations for medical device development (ISO13485, FDA QSR) and/or demonstrated substantial experience in product development for very quality sensitive applications.Apply Now* Participants who complete a short wellness assessment qualify for FREE coverage in our HIP PPO medical plan.
