The CPO will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, including employee relations, talent management, change management, performance management, training and development, compensation, and succession planning. This role is pivotal in fostering a unified work culture that exemplifies the company's values, particularly in the context of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI) priorities.The successful candidate will drive a comprehensive people strategy, participate as a trusted advisor to the executive team, and ensure a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplace across the organization. Applicants for the CPO position should possess a strong background in HR, with a focus on JEDI issues, and at least 7-10 years of supervisory and leadership experience.The role requires excellent communication, interpersonal, and change management skills, as well as a thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, particularly in a unionized environment. A Master's degree in HR or a related field is preferred, along with SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in strategic recruiting, retention, and training, and be adept at managing the design and administration of competitive compensation and benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.
