Salary Range:

$22.50 - $33.59 /hour. Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, skill level, and education.

Department Details

Our Nursing Staffing Office provides three support levels based on patient acuity. As a Telemetry Technician-Clerical Coordinator (TT-CC), you may be assigned to our various Medical/Surgical and Telemetry units, Emergency Departments, ICUs, and the Command Center (additional training required).

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

The Telemetry Technician-Clerical Coordinator (TT-CC) is responsible for constantly monitoring electrocardiogram and SPO2 measurements for designated patients and informing the RN of changes.

Other duties may include :

Maintain and check monitoring equipment daily.Work as a part of the patient care team to maintain organization within the clinical station.Answer telephones and patient call lights promptly.Assist patients, hospital visitors, and members of the healthcare team.Perform some clerical functions including organizing the clinical station, tracking equipment inventory, as well as monitoring electronic orders.Notify the Charge Nurse of new admits and maintains the census record.Participate in Swap Shifts to ensure skill competency.Perform other duties as assigned.Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required.Completion of basic arrhythmia course (ECG certification) and ECG test required.Preferred Qualifications

Recent experience as a Telemetry/Monitor Technician - Clerical Coordinator in an acute healthcare environment preferred.Completion of a Clerical Coordinator course including medical terminology preferred.

ScheduleFull-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions are available.

Hours / Pay period

(2 weeks)Available hours: 72 (Full-Time), 48 (Part-Time), and 24 (Per Diem)

Schedule Details12-hour shift. Primarily nights (1900-0730). Other Shifts may be available: Days (0700-1930).

Department Director, Charge Nurse, Relief Charge Nurse, Clinical Nurse
