The Physical Therapist will:

Use the physical therapy process in the delivery of patient care in an in-patient or out-patient setting, adhering to departmental policies and procedures.Use communications skills to facilitate exchange of ideas for quality patient care with patient/family, supportive Medical Staff, and community.Act in accordance with the Standards of Conduct and Ethical Practice of APTA, the Vermont Practice Act, and hospital/department policies to maintain high standards of professional behavior.Maintain competency by participating in professional growth and development and internal/external educational activities.Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy programMaster's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program. (preferred)Previous healthcare experience (preferred)Current Physical Therapist license in Vermont in good standing.Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare ProvidersDemonstrated knowledge and understanding of Physical Therapy evaluation, reassessment and treatment techniques.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).Effective written and verbal communication skills.Strong critical thinking skillsExperience with electronic medical record systems.
