Responsibilities:

Count, sort and label bottles and packages of medication.Maintain pharmacy inventory using computer and hand counting techniques.Ensure all medications are in compliance with federal guidelines by verifying patient identification and checking for expiration dates.Verify that prescription information is correct by checking with pharmacist.Be on time for shifts.Dispense medications to patients and educate them on how to use them.
