Job Description:

- Perform quality diagnostic radiology and ultrasound exam procedures according to prescribed protocols for accurate imaging information.- Be directly responsible for performing ultrasound and diagnostic radiology exams ordered within the hospital.- Participate in the development of department policies and procedures.- Manage supplies and inventory efficiently.- Foster positive relationships with physicians and patients.- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of imaging areas.- Ensure the delivery of quality customer service-focused patient care.- Maintain competency in diagnostic radiology and ultrasound exams and procedures.- Adhere to all ultrasound and related radiology policies and procedures for obtaining images, ordering supplies, and preparing and operating ultrasound equipment.- Evaluate ultrasound images for technical quality.- Perform clerical functions and maintain patient records.- Cross-training possibilities for the right individual.- Be available for holiday coverage when required.
